In order to have people living, working, investing and wanting to stay in Prince George, political leaders must make the necessary commitment, capital investments and long term plans to improve quality of life issues. Providing core city services and having safe reliable roads and infrastructure is the life line of any community. It is equally important for local government to support and encourage the development of affordable, accessable housing, to strive for a city-wide reduction in crime, to provide a good balance of indoor and outdoor recreational and cultural opportunities, to maintain a diverse and stable economy, have good quality air, land and water and do all it can to keep taxes at or below the rate of inflation.
